Why do you spell metroscape without the "e"?

metroscape is a collection of black & white cityscape prints of 1 by photographer Jason Wilson. In 2004 when the metroscape Collection (of black and white cityscapes and black and white cityscape prints) was launced we tried very, very hard to register the domain name metroscape.com. However, it turned out that it was already (and still is) squatted by someone else in South Korea. So instead of be discouraged about not being able to acquire the metroscape.com domain we instead used that roadblock as an opportunity be creative with the name and pronounciation that we desired with the term metroscape. So after some quality time with Adobe Illustrator and a bunch of pencil sketches we arrived at our current spelling, metroscape (with the long vowel sound pronounciation bar above the "a").

Just because you like the photo, doesn't mean you have been granted the implicit right to use it on your website or in your printed material or on your business card. You must have explicitly been granted that permisson in writing by the photographer, Jason R. Wilson. Which, he would gladly grant you in exchange for monetary compensation. You see, your desire to use the photo in or on your promotional material is a valuable commodity which has a monetary value to Mr. Wilson as well as you. Again, you desire to use the photograph in or on your materials because you believe it conveys a certain emotion to which you desire other people to associate with your brand, wherein lies the monetary value you seek, and to which Mr. Wilson believes you should offer compensation.
